Revelstoke Elopement

Another win for love!

Just after Jeff asked Jillian to marry him, the pair found out there were expecting their second boy Logan. Despite the pandemic, having to breastfeed steadily throughout the day, and their two-year-old Reuben, who won't stand still for very long, these two decided to go ahead with their wedding.

They reached out, drawn to the natural and wild feel of my portfolio. I was very touched, and more importantly, if people tell me they love certain natural elements more than others, I LOVE brainstorming locations or share some of my secret gems. They choose Mooses fall for their Revelstoke Wedding.

I met them at the lovely new Boulder Mountain Resort Cabins, a small resort of modern cabins nestled in the inland rainforest.

They kept the ceremony very intimate. A beautiful dust of snow had fallen just for the occasion, making this wedding magical with a wedding pallet of dark green and navy blue. Julian got to live her dream dress fantasy with her hair beautifully braided. We played with the camera in that snowy forest for some time. A reminder of how much I love capturing women in elegant dresses amongst wild landscapes.

After the wedding, we headed back to the resort for family photos. Yes, some kids were screaming, and yes, it was a tiny chaotic, but so is life, and this was a great reminder that no matter the circumstances, we have the choice to embrace it and live it as gracefully as we can.

Congratulation!
